After our morning of books, we spent a beautiful & sunny afternoon in the lagoon at Uncle Buddy & Aunt Mary's house. Buddy & Mary took Auntie Jo!, Uncle Sean, Uncle Steve, Daddy & Devon out on their boat. What a blast! Devon, of course, found some time to drive it herself.

A Library With a View to a Kill

Our first full day in California was all about books. First we went to Barnes & Noble with Aunt Jenny & Uncle Steve where Daddy & Mommy loaded up on magazines, books and coffee. Then Uncle Sean & Auntie Jo! took us to their new library, where Devon checked out a bag of books for the rest of her week in sunny California.

California Here We Come

Well, Devon, you added your eleventh state this month, flying out to San Diego with Mommy, Aunt Jenny & Uncle Steve (who said you were better behaved on the flight than most of the adults). Daddy met you at the airport and we all went up to Encinitas first to meet up with Uncle Kevin for a mexican food lunch on the beach then over to Uncle Sean's & Aunt Joanne's house, where we stayed the weekend. Then it was off to Palm Springs for a couple days of R & R.

A Musical Christmas

Devon uses her customized sign language to request the Rolling Stones on Christmas morning in her new tent (a present from Uncle JohnnyCakes). She shows off her best Keith Richards licks on her new guitar, a gift from Santa Claus.
